THE driver of a car transporter was killed last night in a devastating accident which caused traffic chaos on the M25 today.

Two men arrested after drugs were found during safety checks on 45 lorries at the Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk have been released on bail.

HGV driver sent for trial

AN HGV driver has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a collision in which two men died on the M6 near Sandbach.

 

The driver of school bus which had its roof ripped off when he drove under a railway bridge has been suspended.

The 49-year-old was held on suspicion of drink-driving and dangerous driving after the incident in Station Road, Langley, Slough, on Wednesday.

It led to rail delays between London and Reading.

The driver, who was travelling from Iver in Buckinghamshire, has been bailed by police and suspended by Buckinghamshire County Council.
