Right then. You all know who I used to work for, and you have seen some of the troubles posted on here along with the high points. I think, on balance, that the highs outweighed the lows right up till last week.
Last week, on Friday, said company had a purge. They called one man in from home, who was very senior, shall we say, and they called a lady in from her bed where she was sick.
Why? To fire them, that's why!!!
Not just them though. They fired the lady who was responsible for their immigration programme, they fired another dispatcher and the fired 2 people from the workshop.
BANG, just like that. There's your cards, there's a reference. Clear your desk and we will escort you from the property.
The man they had as a trainer is now dispatching, and the other fleet is down to one overstretched person.
What has got to me is that they are cleaning house, but they are leaving some garbage on the floor while throwing some gems away. The escorting these people from the premises just sucks!!
