I hear that the recruiter at BFS, a man who took a dislike to me from day one, and which dislike is entirly mutual, was given something of an ultimatum last week.
You see, he is an expat, just like me, and a former driver at the green machine. He quit about 18 months ago to pursue pastures greener, got nailed at the border, had a few piggies die (all this is alleged but the sources are good...
) and eventually returned to BFS as their recruiter.
Between you, me, the gatepost and the miracle which is the WWW, he and the infamous backstabber,

, were instrumental in getting Eric ousted through serious connivance. I also heard that he, the recruiter, was sniffing after
J Mcs
job recently.......
Anyway, last week, he was called into a meeting and was, I am informed, told that he either went back on the road or find a different employer. By all accounts, the company cellphone was slammed onto the desk and he walked out. The talk is that he refused to become a driver again...
I guess he was going to find another office job......
Monday he was seen signing onto a green truck.......
Now I wonder, is his going back on the road going to be similar to a cop being put in pokey?
I am actually looking forward to encountering him on the road sometime. Regardless of what has been said of me on here, I have never built any ivory tower, and have never professed to be something I am not. He, on the other hand, has. It may prove interesting.
