yeah done a few even in UK, found it very boring mostly but had 1 or 2 fun ones

Probably in Bilbao, Jimbo!!

The ones in the UK always sucked. I spent 3 days in Rownhams services once. Not a happy camper at all.

wworst weekend away was dover, the spaniard was ther , ruined the whole bloody thing, best weekend away, hereford, what a town not much truck parking but the re is somethin in the water that seems to make the females grow large water wings , fantastic :P

As Jobberdun said "part of the job"..That has always been my impression,,good life i have enjoyed most if not all my "weekends away"..

I read about some who dont even wont to do nights out let alone weekends away,,horses for courses as they say...

i have done quite a few when i was on european work especially with rh, i seemed to only get home once a month when i worked for them.
i'm also away a lot of weekends at the moment because i have nothing at home for me, i have a girlfriend in the ipswich area so i spend a lot my weekends down there and i am looking at moving down there in the near future.

Only ever done one week-end away - stuck at the customs clearing depot in Alverca, Portugal - what a bummer having to pay about £6 for a decent meal and about 4 pints :lol:

Alverca now theres a name from the past Damn rat infested stink hole but like you say the beer was cheap

Had a weekend there with a Norwegan guy once just me and him cracking weekend was leathered from Friday night to the wee small hours of Monday morning

Didn't half have the squirts all week though :huh:
