One man died in the accident

A man has died in a crash involving a lorry and a car on the Belfast to Downpatrick Road.

He was Peter Francis Devlin, 63, from the Kilcoo area of Newry, County Down.

Mr Devlin was the driver of the car. The driver of the lorry and his passenger were uninjured but were treated in hospital for shock.

Meanwhile, two lanes of the M2 motorway at Belfast were cordoned off following a serious accident on Saturday. It has since re-opened.
