There I was, driving a nice 670 Volvo. All was rosy then it became kinda crap. After a minor disagreement I gave notice and went to work for another firm..

OK, so I have always said that I don't really go for names, so things like Scanias never really interested me........
and neither did Peterbilts. After all, Daf are Paccar, so Peterbilts are just Dafs with a different badge, aren't they?
So I have spent the past 3 years saying that Peterbilts are overpriced, overrated, etc, etc.....
So what do I get issued with yesterday?
A 379 Peterbilt.
Yep. BTD is now the pilot to a Pete.
So all those times where I have suggested that the need for a Pete is little more than penis envy or vanity are now rushing back to haunt me!!!
The worst of it is this. I was in there yesterday, having finally found the bloody light switches, and I was thinking about the best way to polish the dashboard, and where I could wash the roadsalt off....
You know what this means......
the Peterbilt disease is highly contagious and I appear to have caught a sniff of it!!
