Major resurfacing works to improve safety and reduce noise on the A20 in Dover will start on 3 March and are set to last between 12 and 15 weeks.

The essential works will involve replacing the existing road surface on both carriageways and on all five roundabouts of the A20 from Western Heights Roundabout to Eastern Docks Roundabout. The new road surface will improve safety for all road users by providing greater skid resistance and the existing road markings will be replaced to make them more visible. A low noise material will be used for the new road surface in order to reduce levels of noise for all road users and local residents.

For the safety of all road users and the workforce road the following restrictions will be in place.
