A1096 layby

Paul Published in Untagged  by Paul H Dakers Print PDF

Hi guys,

For those of you that read about the layby story in St. Ives, Cambs, where the swan died in the river, I'm the man running the campaign to get it all cleaned up and resurfaced. Further to the article shown, we now have another 125 signatures and  it will be going to a meeting on 19th April infront of local councillors, some of whom I'll know.

When I know when and where the meeting is, I'll let you all know, as any public support would be welcome.  I'd like to thank anyone who signed the petition, as when I was a local councillor I was told this couldn't be done, and now we're one step closer. The council take £3000 a year collectively off of the three traders that sell food there, so I think it's about time they gave some of it back!

Thanks again guys

Paul

Yep a strange place to put a post but never mind

And yes that layby is an utter disgrace and it wouldnt hurt the council to relay it
