 THIS charred lorry looks a trifle nasty — after 60,000 tins of rice pudding and custard blew up on board. The 26 tonnes of Ambrosia desserts heated up and exploded “like thousands of gunshots” as the HGV caught fire on the A382 in Chagford, Devon. Witness Jill Pendleton said: “There was a whiff of smoke and burning sugar — then it erupted. “It was quite a fireworks display.” The driver escaped injury. Source The Sun
