UK-based haulier B Taylor & Sons has opened a £3m base and freight centre in Nottinghamshire after outgrowing its old depot. The new headquarters features hard standing, warehousing, a state-of-the-art fuel dispensing and monitoring system, and a drive-through truckwash that uses recycled water. It was opened by the secretary of state for transport, Geoff Hoon, and MD of the Taylor group Alan Taylor. Source IFW |
