Geodis UK has opened a new drinks distribution centre at Dover. The sites expands on its existing operations in Poole and will UK of wine imports. Geodis handles on average around 7,000 cases of wine each week for a number of wine merchants including Boutinot, Yapp Brothers and Laithwaites in Europe, delivering wine imports to the UK from Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and France. It also provides bonded warehouse facilities, handling all HM Customs and Excise paperwork. Source IFW |
